You Are Making This Mistake With Your Content!
You are sitting on a goldmine of ideas, but are hardly using any of them. What is going wrong? Hope you enjoy reading ~373 words here to help you do it right.
Hey You💜,
You spend 1000 hours writing, editing, redrafting, and publishing your content, but what is the result?
It is to publish the content on your website, personal blog, LinkedIn or social media platform.
Let’s suppose 500 people read your content the moment you publish it, wherever it is.
They come, they see or like, they comment, and go.
What next? It’s gone within 24 hours. ☹️
Have you ever gone back to relooking at your content?
Have you ever looked hard at different sections of your content that have done well?
What kind of words did you use?
What kind of information did you give?
What kind of impact did it create on their mind?
Dissect your content immediately.
When you have one LinkedIn post -
You can create 3 short LinkedIn posts
You can create 10 X posts and 3 threads
You can create 5 reels from the same content
Have you ever thought about this?
You are NOT repurposing your posts the right way.
Recently, in a call with a content creator, I advised him to repurpose his content in a different way.
Don’t use the same content and structure while writing a new one.
Don’t use the same words when repurposing the content.
Don’t use the same hooks and CTA either.
Keep the base intact
And Play around with the content.
Use emojis to express an emotion (but use it at the end).
Give it a new format and use short sentences to reiterate the points.
Use the same LinkedIn content to write a blog on his website with more points.
And it made sense to him because he hadn’t looked at it this way. 😏
It is an experiment that you are part of every day.
Your mistake is YOU are lazy to repurpose your content.
You are not making notes of hooks that strike you.
You are not observing things around you.
You are trying too hard to think.
If ever you feel stuck, return to the posts and blogposts that have performed well and REPURPOSE it. Period.
Unloop yourself from the loop.
Hope you liked reading this.
Drop me a ❤️ and I will know 🤗
Until later, alligator.. 😁😁
Cheers,
Yours truly❤️
Basically, one idea and multiple ways to leverage it? This sounds exciting! I’m going to do repurpose the content I post on LinkedIn to other my social media pages. Thank you, Ankita!
Repurposing the old content is something I have been thinking about. Maybe in the coming weeks I will be repurposing my old posts.
Your newsletters are nuggets of wisdom I always look forward to. Happy Friday and a weekend.
