I'll be honest, after reading this, I felt I'm committing these mistakes as the intern turned freelancer.

And I don't know but My mind says to oblige with all requirements of the client until I prove my worth after working for a few more years.

It took people years of experience to turn from a writer to an expert writer who can charge in advance.

I have to be patient to reach there. It's a lonely experience but I'm glad that I can rely on online advice from creators who made it. A new subscriber here!

Hey Pooja! Thank you for subscribing ❤️

I can relate to your emotions and thoughts. Never think you are underestimating yourself by charging in advance or the amount you are. Be fair in your ask, but take an advance and ask as many questions as possible to the client if they have multiple revision requests.

There is a discrepancy if they are asking for a lot of revisions then. Make notes of these revisions in another document so that you do not repeat it the next blogpost :)

And being a freelancer is an overwhelming journey. It is lonely I agree, but have a handful of people to speak with and you'll be good to go. Keep writing well and have a great time mastering your craft 🤗🌞

Heylo girl,

Thankfully, I had you as a guide when I ventured into freelancing.

Advance payment is a must now for me. At least for the first month to build that initial trust.

Saying No is still difficult for me but I am learning. If something doesn't interest me or is not my forte I say no.

So, for now, so far so good.
